BOSTON BUTT

posted 125 days ago

I was watching the “Today Show” this morning and there was a male chef ( for the life of me I can’t remember his name), but he was showing Al Roker how to prepare a Boston butt. I usually love all of the recipes that they show in the mornings. Every time I cook one it turns out great. Today was a doubly great show because they had Martha Stewart in the first hour and the other chef in the second hour. Anyway, the chef was describing a rub for the piece of meat and how it should be prepared. I know that when you are on the “Today Show” that you have to get up super early, so I imagine that the chef’s slip up when he asked Al to, “rub his butt” was due to having to get up at four in the morning. Anyway, everyone in the studio started dying laughing. It was hilarious! The thing that made it so funny is that it was actually an honest mistake. It was something that appeared scripted or put in there for a laugh. I definitely got a good chuckle out of it this morning!

Style My Guy or Style Your Body?

posted 303 days ago

Here at Style My Guy, we usually focus on what you can put on your body to look good and feel good looking good. It’s a cycle that starts with great fashion. But what if you are looking to make changes that go beyond just your fashion?

And what if you want to make these changes while living in the Miami or South Florida area? Well, we have answers that might help. The obvious answer, though most people don’t want to hear it, is that you should make certain lifestyle changes to make yourself look and feel better.

But if you want faster results, you can contact a Miami cosmetic surgeon and get plastic surgery. Although we are all about the natural way, there’s definitely something very effective about plastic surgery, and it allows you to make a significant, life-altering change in your life in a short amount of time.

Some of the operations that are common in Miami are breast augmentations, facelifts and liposuction surgeries. All of these can make extremely positive changes on your body with minimal effort on your part – in fact, most of the effort is done by your wallet. Even so, you can find an inexpensive Miami plastic surgery company that does charge as much as others, while not sacrificing quality or safety in the process.

If getting new clothes just aren’t cutting it for you, consider plastic surgery. You should only do it for the right reasons, however, and you should be certain before you commit to anything. Although some plastic surgeries are reversible, many can’t be changed once they are done, so think it through and do what’s best for you.

Adam Richman, I Love You!

posted 303 days ago

Style My Guy knows how difficult it is to stay fresh these days. We’d like to give thanks for the post, Vernon Lowe.

Have you ever seen that show called “Man Vs. Food?” It’s pretty much my favorite thing on TV right now because it’s so utterly absurd. The concept is that the totally loveable host, Adam Richman, goes from town to town checking out the biggest food offerings the restaurants there have to sell. Each episode culminates with him eating something that’s a challenge of some sort, like a huge pizza or 10 of the hottest buffalo wings on the planet. I didn’t think this would be the kind of thing I was watching when I signed up for my EXPERTSatellite.com satellite subscription but Adam’s so darn charming and it does come on the Travel Channel, afterall. That makes it a little bit more high-brow, right? I’m not travelling to any of these cities but I think it’s great to check them out on the television and I’d never want to eat any of these monstrosities anyway. Adam’s my hero and I don’t know how he doesn’t weigh 400 lbs at this point!

Dress Light for Summer. Start with Flip Flops.

posted 326 days ago

In some parts of the country it feels like the oven is just heating up, but in other parts, like here in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona, the oven has been at full temperature for awhile now. Don’t make it worse by wearing cumbersome shoes that just weigh you down and make the heat that much more miserable.

Instead, start stocking up on men’s flip flops. There’s enough variety and they are cheap enough that you can have a lot of different pairs to match the outfits you’re wearing with them. Experiment with flip flops to see what works and what doesn’t. Remember: flip flops aren’t just for guys and they aren’t just for going out to the pool. When the temperature is rising, you want to be as comfortable as possible and the only way to do that is to dress light.

And nothing is lighter than flip flops. The first time I put a pair of flip flops on, my first reaction was that I needed to get my feet tan. It looked like I was wearing white socks, but really it was just my pasty skin that wasn’t used to seeing so much sunlight. But after a few weekends of wearing my flip flops, the tops of my feet were golden brown just like the rest of my toned body. Okay enough about me. Go out there, get some flip flops and avoid looking like a square this summer.
